Rich Meyer Rich Meyer has served over the last six years with Christian Peacemaker Teams (www.cpt.org), and has just returned from Hebron/Al-Khalil, a West Bank urban flashpoint of conflict between Palestinians and Jewish settlers. Since 1995, CPTers have engaged in nonviolent intervention, reconciliation, and monitoring activities there. Meyer also coordinates the "Campaign for Secure Dwellings," which works to end the demolition of Palestinian homes. [more details] |

Devorah Brous Israeli activist Devorah Brous is the founder of Bustan L'Shalom, a "pro-Israel, pro-Palestine, anti-war, and anti-Occupation" grassroots organization. Bustan (www.bustanlshalom.org) addresses issues of environmental justice in Israel. Bustan also raises awareness about the plight of indigenous and marginalized people and the systemic discrimination they face. [more details] | |

Ziad Abu Rish Ziad Abu Rish's wide experience with youth from Israel and Palestine includes service as a counselor with Seeds of Peace, a Maine summer camp that brings together Israeli and Palestinian teenagers. At the camp, these youth share stories as a means to understand each others' experiences. Abu Rish has worked in support of young Israeli draft resisters and, also, in the U.S. with Israeli and Palestinian international students. Geoffrey Aronson Geoffrey Aronson is the Director of Research and Publications at the Foundation for Middle East Peace (www.fmep.org) in Washington, DC. He is the Editor of the Foundation's bi-monthly Report on Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Territories. Aronson is the author of Israel, Palestinians and the Intifada: Creating Facts on the West Bank and From Sideshow to Center Stage: U.S. Policy Toward Egypt 1946-1956, among other books. Sara Roy Sara Roy has lived in and visited the Gaza Strip repeatedly since 1985, conducting extensive research into the effects of occupation on the Palestinian economy. A senior research scholar at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University, Roy is author of The Gaza Strip: The Political Economy of De-development. Roy provides an important analysis of the relationship between violence and occupation and on the prospects for peace offered by the current negotiations. Roy's message contains both the personal reflections of the daughter of Holocaust survivors and the analytical perspective of a political economist. [more details] |

Norman Finkelstein Norman Finkelstein is the author of four books: Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict, The Rise and Fall of Palestine, A Nation on Trial: The Goldhagen Thesis and Historical Truth, and The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering. He received his doctorate from Princeton University for a thesis on the theory of Zionism. Currently he teaches political science at DePaul University in Chicago.
