Rami Khouri

After the summer wars of 2006 (Israel in Gaza, Israel vs. Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the ongoing war in Iraq), what are the new political dynamics in the Middle East? Rami Khouri is editor-at-large for the largest-circulation English-language newspaper in the Middle East, the Beirut Daily Star. His articles and commentaries are syndicated worldwide; he is a frequent guest on ABC’s Nightline, National Public Radio, and CNN.

He also serves as director of the Issam Fares Center for Public Policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beirut.
