 Congressman Danny Davis addressed the 2006 pre-Walk rally in Scoville Park. |

 Celebrated former Weavers folksinger and progressive activist Ronnie Gilbert addressed the rally. |

 Participants in the 2006 Walk for a Just Peace gathered near a 25-foot-tall panel, erected to demonstrate the actual height of the wall built by Israel on expropriated Palestinian land. More than twice the height of the Berlin Wall, the barrier has been judged illegal by the International Court of Justice. |

 Support Sanity and Not in My Name were two of the many groups co-sponsoring and participating in the 2006 Walk. |

 Walkers delivered their messsges during the march through downtown Oak Park. Participants included Jews, Muslims, Christians and secularists. |

 Following the march, Danny Glover addressed the crowd at the Advocacy Buffet. |
